4/30/2016 – Plantation, FL – MobileRVing.com is celebrating the month of April as their RV Travel Search Engine has reached over 3 million page views in April alone.
MobileRVing.com was relaunched in February 2015. When the new MobileRVing.com website launched, it immediately received 690 thousand page views. In a little over one year, the website has more than tripled that number and the growth isn’t going to slow down according to Brian McGuinn, Business Development Director. “We are implementing new technologies within the website that will enhance the mobile experience and as of now, over 52% of users arrive on our website through a mobile device.”
According to sources inside the company, another reason for the tremendous growth has been due to constant content refinement. They have staff that calls listings daily to verify the information on MobileRVing.com is accurate, we have about 500 businesses a month adding specials to their profiles within the website, an additional 2,000 businesses updating their profiles regularly, RV Resorts and Campgrounds updating their profiles and a department of writers contributing new and unique content every single day.
New content that also has been highly favored by the search engines comes from film crews hired by SEPI to promote their RV Resorts and Campgrounds. McGuinn further explains, “We started our film crew program several months ago and we have done about 77 Preferred Property films. These films are professionally done, and placed within Preferred Property profiles to show our community why these places are considered, preferred. When we do this, that film is also uploaded to MobileRVing 2.0 our mobile app and MRV Connect, our social media network for RV Enthusiasts.
The recognition of the MobileRVing.com website has also led to a surge in business for Southeast Publications. Carlene Morris, Vice President of SEPI Marketing states, “Last year we brought on nearly 1,000 new businesses that have never sponsored an outdoor recreation venue’s guest guide publication with us. The improvements we’ve made within our publication’s designs have been a big help, but most of the credit goes to the MobileRVing digital platforms. These advertisers aren’t layman with technology, they know where to find the truth about which websites perform and which do not. They see the traffic and having business participation involved with outdoor recreation is a great thing for the industry.”
SEPI Marketing’s visitation went from an average of 45,000 visitors per month to over 100,000. They believe that they can quadruple that number in 2017 with some of the new technologies and platforms they will be incorporating within their website soon. McGuinn states, “It really is not about using our digital properties as a gimmick, we want to deliver to our advertisers and our RV Resorts customers who have come to like and trust our media’s content. We will deliver to our partners, and we will earn that trust from our community.”
