G& G Media Group and SEPI Marketing are announcing the formation of a new media alliance enabling both companies to combine their respective resources and expand their reach within the outdoor recreation arena.
Woodall’s Campground Management (WCM), a monthly publication with a 24/7 website published by G&G Media, features campground industry news and related articles that are highly valued by its large audience of campground owners, managers and related vendors and associations. WCM highlights the outdoor hospitality space’s best practices, events, trends and news.
RVBusiness (RVB), another G&G Media magazine, is widely recognized as the industry leader in reporting RV manufacturing news, trends, events, outdoor recreation policy and RV-related products. The magazine’s unique yet comprehensive style of reporting, as well as its daily online newsfeed, has been branded a “must-read” for industry professionals.
MobileRVing the Buzz is an editorial arm of SEPI Marketing’s MobileRVing, representing a large community of RV travelers and outdoor enthusiasts. MobileRVing the Buzz includes detailed articles that highlight must-see destinations around North America and industry features that are both domestic and internationally based. MobileRVing The Buzz also is part of The RV Show USA radio talk show in which Tim Wassberg, the Buzz’s chief editor, is a regular guest host.
The combined audiences of these platforms are estimated to currently engage more than a hundred thousand unique visitors a month. “We read in the mainstream media how big the outdoor recreation industry is growing,” said Brian McGuinn, director of SEPI Marketing. “Now is a perfect time for an alliance like this. We can cover more ground working together and by consolidating the potential consumer and industry executive viewership. In so doing, we can expand our efforts, creating more comprehensive content that can help both consumers and businesses make well informed decisions.”
G&G Publisher Sherman Goldenberg, who purchased both magazines with partner Beverly Gardner from California-based Affinity Group Inc. about six years ago, has helped establish the two publications as respected independent voices within the industry.
“At a time when the RV park and campground business continues to gain impressive traction throughout North America, it’s a boon for our publications to partner with an organization like SEPI Marketing to further develop our respective voices for both trade and consumer audiences going forward. This is just the latest twist in a dynamic industry that will continue to evolve, just as this new alliance will likely evolve – in the years ahead,” Goldenberg said.
That said, the immediate goal for both companies, they add, is to immediately grow their respective audiences and generate excellent content for their readers.
